Valley of Rains— это экшен-приключенческая игра, выпущенная в 2019 году компанией ZOSYA entertainment. Действие игры разворачивается в мире, страдающем от засухи из-за темных сил. Игроки берут на себя роль принцессы Долины Дождей. Основная задача — победить эти злые силы и вернуть жизнь в долину. Игра разработана для ZX Spectrum 48K и выше, с возможностью использования музыкального CD для улучшенного опыта.
Игровой процесс включает в себя прохождение уровней, заполненных различными врагами и боссами. Игроки должны стратегически выбирать, с какими врагами сражаться, сосредотачиваясь на победе над боссами для продвижения. В игре представлены различные виды оружия и предметы, включая усиление здоровья, щиты и временное бессмертие, которые необходимы для преодоления испытаний.
Valley of Rains примечательна своими яркими графиками и увлекательным саундтреком, созданным ZOSYA entertainment с бонусным треком от Tiurula. the strongest being on the earth.
Volcano has given me fire.
Wagtail has blessed me for great deeds.
I went on the road
to return life to Valley of Rains.
Loading
System requirements: ZX Spectrum 48K or higher.
Optional: music system for listening to a CD.
Type LOAD"" (ENTER) or select the "Tape Loader" option depending on the machine model. Press PLAY
on your recorder and the game will load automatically. After loading, listen to the story, and only
then stop the tape.
Main Menu
1. KEYBOARD
2. SINCLAIR
3. KEMPSTON
4. CURSOR
5. REDEFINE
Press the specified key (1, 2, 3 or 4) to select the control type.
Do not choose Kempston unless you have the Kempston joystick interface: this will cause the game
to crash.
Default keys for keyboard are Q, A, O, P, M and SPACE to pause. Press 5 to redefine keys.
After the selection of the controls, press FIRE. The main menu wall no longer be available.
Insert the soundtrack CD into your music system and press play, then press FIRE to start the game.
Gameplay
There is drought in the country since the dark forces settled upon the land. As Princess of Valley
of Rains, you must defeat the evil forces.
Don't waste your time on small enemies. However, you have to kill bosses to progress through level.
Killed enemies may drop items:
Standard weapon
Powerful weapon
Parabolic weapon
Double weapon
Health
Time
Shield (does not give immortality)
Immortality for a while
Sometimes you will also find other items that need to be used: for example, a key for opening the
gate. In other cases, the gate can be opened by killing the guards.
Time, lives, health and score are displayed in status bar. Extra life is given when player reaches
1000 points.
When you lose all your health, you will lose a life and start from the same place. When the time
runs out, you will lose a life and have to start the level again.
If you lose all your lives, the game is over and you will have to start from beginning.
White flowers will give you some health.
Standing on the upper platform, use DOWN to crouch on the platform.
On the lower platform, DOWN = jump down from the platform.
