GAME STRATEGY.
With all your exploits you have become very very wealthy, as Jack, you
have decided to build your own modest mansion, but as usual being Jack,
the builders you contracted "THOR" left behind 19 mystical items and of
course the usual wierd and wonderful creatures protecting them.
SCENARIO.
This is the story of "The House Jack Built", it's not dissimilar to the
house of another Jack; the one of nursery-rhyme fame.
But the one main difference in this story is that Jack's house isn't full
of cats, dogs and rats: but horrible viscious monsters. They follow Jack
everywhere and will kill him at the slightest opportunity. As you can
imagine this is a very unpleasant situation for Jack to be in.
To make matters worse, he has to collect various objects from the rooms
and grounds of his property. Which have been left behind by his magical
builders...
So it's simple: wrong think again, it's very hard and only the best can
help Jack with his problem. Are you the best!!!
GUARANTEE
All THOR GAMES FROM THE GODS products have a life-time guarantee. If this
tape ever fails to load, it will be replaced totally free of charge, if
returned with details, directly to Thor Computer Software, Liverpool. If
the tape shows any form of physical damage, please include GBP 1.50 to
cover replacement costs. This guarantee does not affect and is in
addition to your statutory consumer rights.
LOADING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Connect the EAR socket on your Spectrum to the EAR socket on your
recorder and ensure the MIC lead is disconnected as well.
2. Place the cassette tape in the recorder and rewind to the beginning.
3. Type LOAD ""
4. Press PLAY on the cassette recorder.
5. Giants Revenge will now load automatically and the word PROGRAM will
now appear at the top left-hand corner of your screen. When the word
Program leaves the screen the main introduction panel will appear
approximately 35 seconds later. If loading is unsusccessful, rewind the
cassette, adjust the VOLUME control on the recorder and try again.
NOTE: Full loading instructions can be found in your Spectrum manual.
TO PLAY.
You may explore your house roaming from room to room freely, collect the
items in each screen but this is not necessary as you may pass into the
next screen. Your score is determined by the number of items collected.
